Some cities reveal themselves immediately. Florence does not.
Behind its familiar skyline are stories of art, literature, love and memory — details discovered through streets, churches, paintings, architecture and the people who once lived there.
DK Florence brings those fragments together in the form of a small contemporary treasure chest. Florence is not represented by one monument. It is carried as a collection of secrets.
The design began during Denis’s studies in Florence, where Professor Mariella showed him the city not only through its monuments, but through the stories, art and places most visitors pass by.
